About Us
We teach practical and competitive traditional Shotokan Karate – combining the most effective and best of the martial arts in structured, disciplined, and exciting training classes.
- Practical Shotokan Karate: We practice the original defensive applications that are covered by our main styles of Karate Shotokan and Ryokukai. These bring elements of ground fighting, joint locking, and throwing as well as the punching and kicking methods. This program also includes advanced specialty classes focusing on reality-based weapon defenses (stick, gun, and knife).
- In Competitive Shotokan Karate: students will learn the dynamic, active competition training techniques and rules of Olympic Karate. Fitness with strategic technical and tactical skills has propelled this program based on the latest research and up-to-date WKF training techniques in Kata and Kumite.
We are members of and actively participate in organizations such as the USA Karate Federation, AAU Karate, and the World Karate Commission (WKC).
